Truth about ecology

Our ecological mission is simple. We try to deliver a product that is grown naturally, without any artificial additives. The buckwheat plant is able to grow and develop on its own, without the need for human intervention.
Buckwheat is able to protect the soil from erosion, fight nematodes and reduce pest activity in the soil. It is also characterized by the ability to absorb nitrogen and phosphorus from the soil. It is resistant to pests and diseases, while having low sensitivity to soil conditions.
Buckwheat is recommended for cultivation on organic farms due to its high resistance to diseases and fungi and high sensitivity to herbicides. It blooms for quite a long time and ripens evenly. Harvest takes place when 75-85% of seeds are brown and ripe but have not yet fallen. The harvested seeds are dried at 45 degrees Celsius and systematically ventilated during storage. In the process we obtain 3 products: whole seeds are used as groats, broken seeds are ground into flour, and the outer seed hulls are used to fill pillows that we produce on our farm. Our buckwheat is completely organic, from seed to groats; this process is certified by the EU and monitored by the Polish government.
